# Bankr opens early staking for BNKR token with 2x boost over 12 months

**September 26, 2026.** Bankr opened early staking for its BNKR token on September 26, 2026, allowing users to build a boost multiplier before rewards distribution starts. The boost begins at 1x and will double to 2x over 12 months for staked tokens, increasing the share of rewards participants receive.

According to Bankr’s staking page, the boost mechanism rewards early participants. The company said rewards will begin "soon," but did not disclose a specific date. Staking is available through the Bankr platform, which operates on Base and Robinhood Chain.

Bankr describes the BNKR token as a governance-focused asset with a roadmap centered on staking and user accessibility. The token’s governance model prioritizes transparency and decentralization, according to third-party analysis. The platform integrates agentic tools, including automated liquidity provision for tokenized stocks and Aerodrome pools on Base, as well as AI-driven research and portfolio monitoring.

Bankr did not disclose the total staking pool size, the reward rate, or the duration of the staking period. The company’s documentation states that the boost multiplier applies only to staked tokens and does not affect unstaked holdings.
