"body": "# Polygon Labs integrates Open Money Stack with Solana for payments\n\n*Businesses on Solana can now access Polygon’s banking connections and payment services through a single integration while keeping stablecoin transfers on-chain.*\n\nPolygon Labs and Solana announced on October 29, 2026, that Polygon’s Open Money Stack payments infrastructure is now available on Solana. The integration does not merge the two blockchains. Businesses will continue to process stablecoin transfers on Solana, while using Polygon’s banking connections and payment services for other functions.\n\nThrough Open Money Stack, businesses building on Solana can accept bank transfers, card payments, and cash via supported providers. They can also create customer wallets, move assets between blockchains, and send funds to bank accounts through one integration. According to Polygon’s documentation, the stack is designed as enterprise payments infrastructure for stablecoins and tokenized deposits. It is built to integrate with existing systems rather than replace them.\n\nKira, a cross-border payments company, is an early adopter. It uses Solana for stablecoin transfers and Polygon’s banking connections to let customers pay overseas suppliers in dollars.\n\nSolana has processed over $5.7 trillion in stablecoin transfers in 2026, according to Jamal Raees, general manager of payments at the Solana Foundation. Polygon has recorded more than $3 trillion in total transfers since its launch, a figure that includes wallet-to-wallet transfers beyond payments.\n\n\"Businesses shouldn’t have to rebuild their payments infrastructure for every network,\" said Aishwary Gupta, global head of business at Polygon Labs.\n\nRaees said, \"Our focus is to make it easier for payment and stablecoin activity to continue to scale on the network.\"\n\nThe two networks were previously competitors. Polygon recently added TRON support to Open Money Stack and acquired U.S. crypto payments company Coinme.",
